Customer Service Training - Listening
To test whether you are listening as well as you should be, check for the following danger signals:
• From the customer
“... as I said earlier... ” or “... I thought that I’d explained...”
– Too many unresolved concerns
– Similar questions repeated on the same theme
• From you
– Finishing a customer’s sentence for him/her
– Talking while the customer is talking
– Excessive note-taking
